Selling Insider

Amazon account management from someone who is in your account every day.

Selling Insider is Nathan Smith. I run PPC, listings, catalog, inventory, compliance and reporting as one system, and I send you a plain update every week so you know what changed and why.

Weekly updateMonday, 7:40 am

Team,

Quick update on last week.

  • TACoS went from 11.8% to 10.4%. I cut 14 search terms that spent $1,312 with zero orders.
  • The 2-pack variation broke Thursday. Fixed it with a flat file Friday. BSR is back to #2,410.
  • Top seller has 38 days of cover. The PO needs to land by the 24th or we stock out in early December.

This week: Sponsored Brands video on the hero ASIN and the A+ refresh on 6 SKUs.

Thanks,
Nathan

An example of the weekly update every client gets. Numbers are illustrative.

19 years in e-commerce. $200M+ in sales. 300+ brands and 100,000+ SKUs managed. 50+ products launched to #1 New Release.

Most accounts don't have a PPC problem or a listing problem. They have an ownership problem.

An agency runs the ads. A freelancer wrote the listings two years ago. Nobody owns the catalog. So the ads push traffic to a listing with a broken variation, conversion drops, and TACoS climbs while everyone reports their own number as fine.

I fix that by owning the whole channel. When ads, listings, catalog and inventory are run by the same person, a fix in one place shows up everywhere else. Improvements stack instead of cancel out.

Sound familiar

  • Ad spend keeps rising and profit doesn't follow
  • Plenty of traffic, weak conversion
  • Suppressed listings, broken variations, stranded inventory
  • Campaigns overlap and bid against each other
  • Reports full of numbers and no next step
  • Stockouts that kill ranking right before peak season
  • Compliance notices nobody is watching
  • No clear answer to "what should we fix first"

What I run

Five parts of one system. You can hire me for one of them, but they work best together.

Strategy and planning

Account diagnosis, a ranked list of what to fix first, KPI targets tied to your margins, and a roadmap that gets updated as the data changes.

Listings and conversion

Keyword research and indexing, titles, bullets, images and A+ built to convert. Parent and child structure set up correctly so reviews and rank stay together.

Advertising

Sponsored Products, Brands and Display structured by goal. Bids set from target ACoS and net margin, not guesswork. Search terms mined weekly, waste cut weekly.

Catalog health and compliance

Suppressions, variation repairs, flat file work, Account Health, GPSR and EU compliance, and case escalation. I catch problems before they cost you a week of sales.

Reporting and cadence

A weekly update in plain English, a monthly performance summary, and a standing list of what's next with owners and dates.

Also on the table when you need it: inventory forecasting and FBA replenishment, promotions and pricing, EU and UK expansion, Vendor Central, and ACES/PIES fitment for automotive catalogs.

How these were done

How it starts

  1. Free audit

You give me read access. I go through ads, listings, catalog and inventory and send you a written audit with the fixes ranked by dollar impact.

  2. Roadmap

We agree on targets and order of work. You know what happens in the first 30, 60 and 90 days before you sign anything.

  3. Fix the leaks

The first month goes to the biggest losses: wasted spend, suppressed listings, broken variations, stock risk.

  4. Weekly cadence

Then it's steady work every day and a written update every week. You always know what I did and what's next.

A good fit

  • Founder-led brands that need one person to own Amazon
  • Lean teams that need Amazon handled without hiring in-house
  • Accounts with traction that have outgrown patchwork help
  • Brands that care about profit, not just top-line sales

Probably not a fit

  • You're shopping for the cheapest option
  • You want set-it-and-forget-it with no collaboration
  • You want guarantees without sharing margins or inventory constraints

Send me your account. I'll tell you what I'd fix first.

The audit is free and you keep it either way. If the numbers don't justify working together, I'll tell you that too.
